I now realize I should've been
doing a blog on the production of the dvd from the beginning, but
better late than never right? For
those planning on checking back now and then, I will be posting an
update on the 13th day of every month (at the very, very least, though
there will probably be at least 2 or 3 posts a month) where I'll bring
you current news on the U.S. release of the brand new DVD for DARKNESS:
THE VAMPIRE VERSION as well as its upcoming releases outside of the
States.
Beyond that I will also be
posting on the progress of brand new projects we have in development
including the long awaited horror action splatter epic -- DEMON

STREET DATE!
For those who
don't know, the standard Single-Disc and Deluxe Limited Edition 2-Disc
DVD set of DARKNESS: THE VAMPIRE VERSION will hit the streets tomorrow
-- May 30th, 2006 at major retailers everywhere! Believe me when I say
that the 2-Disc is an absolute monster with over 6.5 hours of video and
over 9.5 hours of alternate audio/commentary tracks for a total
possible viewing time of over 16 hours! You can find a huge list of

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Free DARKNESS documentary screening on May 29th, 2006!
Writer/Director Leif Jonker
and FX artist/actor Gary Miller will host the World Premier of the
30-minute documentary VAMPIRE BOOTCAMP: REFLECTIONS ON A DECADE OF
DARKNESS at Oscar's Sports Bar at the Warren Oldtown Theatre in
downtown Wichita, KS, tonight, Monday, May 29th at 8pm! The Warren is
the same theater where we held the World Premier of the new version
back in October of 2004. (See attached photo.) The doc will be
projected onto Oscar full sized theater movie screen -- this may be the
only time to see this video on the "big screen", so don't miss out!
Many of the cast & crew
will be in attendance including BOOTCAMP interviewees Randall Aviks,
Mike Gisick, Cena Donham, Lisa Franz, Cara Miller, Veronica Page Dennen
and Jake Euker. Besides BOOTCAMP, the 2-minute trailer for the film,
the music video for the song "World of Sin" from the band APOSTASY and
a variety of other supplementals and easter eggs will also be shown.
Come celebrate with the cast & crew of DARKNESS as they finally
reach the end of a very, very long road to the release of this DVD!
Note: This FREE screening is
open to the public but due to some bloody content in the documentary,
it is not recommended for young or impressionable audience members.
